The Importance of Mangroves and Coral Reefs in our life.

Coral reefs are another type of living things, it is a marine organism that secretes calcium carbonate over a long period of time, they form a hard outer skeletal covering, and they are the polyps who grow along in large groups. Polyps are tiny cylindrical habitats, like a shellfish, and they are invertebrates and have on internal bone. Coral reefs can also be known as a group of polyps that grow together. Fringing reefs, coral atolls and barrier reefs are the three main types of coral reefs and they are reproducing either sexually or asexually.

Coral reefs is important because they are the shelter of the fishes and other marine organism, make their own ecosystem without an ecosystem marine organism can't survive and also the human, they can minimize the sea wave to protect the coastal areas they have been used in the treatment of cancer, HIV, cardiovascular disease, ulcer and other ailments, most pharmaceutical companies have targeted the coral reefs for medicines on other terminal diseases, they are like plants that can reduced the carbon dioxide, they support food chain by
being a food for tropical fishes, maintains the
      balance of ecosystem

Mangroves are the backbone of the tropical ocean, mangroves is also finger-like roots are known to protect coastal wetlands against the ocean, they are also the habitats of the fishes. Mangroves are extremely important coastal resources, which are vital to our socio-economic development. It reduces the effect of green house effect by absorbing the carbon dioxide. It is also protecting the coastline against flood.
